Hello everyone, my name is Gabrielle Pitre. I am a 22-year-old shooter. I shoot Long-Range, Mid-Range, Across the Course Match Rifle and High Power Rifle. I have been shooting in competition since I was 8 years old. I started with shotgun, and at the age of 13, I was selected by the Alaska all-state team to represent the women’s division for Sporting Clays. In 2011, I switched to Small Bore and became a Distinguished Rifleman in NRA 50ft 4-position Small Bore. While shooting Small Bore, I was introduced to Service Rifle competition and from there; I entered Match Rifle/Palma Rifle competition. I have been shooting rifles competitively for four years now, and I have had the opportunity to shoot all over the country such as in; Washington, Oregon, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. I also have had the opportunity to shoot on several teams, such as the Washington Warriors, Kentucky State Service Rifle Team, the U.S. U-25 Young Eagles, Remington Rifle Team, and the Zips Rifle Club. I Am currently a member of Team VihtaVuori.
Shooting in competition over the years has done a lot for me in my life, and I am excited to have the opportunity to share all my experiences with you guys here on my blog. I also have a Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter so please feel free to check out all the information on those pages as well and give me a like and a follow. Hope to see you around the range!
